My
Jewellery is sculpture and architecture. It is important how it is
viewed at rest as well as when it is being worn. The pieces can be
viewed from many different angles. Light falling on the subject will
create interesting shadows. It is important that the work feels nice
to hold; that it is comfortable being worn and that there is flexibility
to complement the movement of the wearer. I spend a long time paying
attention to the fitting or clasp as well as the main focal point,
combining strength and delicacy through weight, shape and form.
